Choco Energy Balls {Recipe}

This week, we are celebrating Workplace Wellbeing Day (May 1st). As part of this, we are giving ourselves a complete refresh! Take a break from the crisps, but keep the chocolate with these super-tasty treat alternatives. The ultimate power-up snack, these are perfect with your mid-morning coffee or as an afternoon bite.

Makes 12 Balls

INGREDIENTS

  • 2/3 cup smooth peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup flax seeds
  • 2 tablespoons honey

 

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and place the bowl in the fridge for 15-30 minutes to chill.

Roll into 12 balls by hand and store in the fridge.  Will keep for up to a week.

Tip:  If the mixture is dry add a little more peanut butter or a tablespoon of water at a time until desired texture is acquired.
