Welcome to The Metropole Hotel, our 4 Star City Centre hotel has been welcoming guests to Cork City for over 127 years and is the home of hospitality here in Cork City.

The Metropole is an established part of Cork’s social history with Hunt Balls, Awards Dinners, Weddings, Family celebrations and get-togethers taking place at this iconic hotel.

The Metropole Hotel known locally as The Met is also home to The Met Restaurant and Bar, an award-winning restaurant in Cork well known for great food featuring local suppliers and fabulous cocktails served at our Classic bar. The Snug at The Met is a gorgeous hideaway for intimate celebrations in the city and our Tea Rooms are an elegant backdrop for our curated Afternoon Tea service.
