Still the best place to stay in Cork City

I stayed here recently on a business trip to Cork and the staff were so friendly and welcoming that it felt like a home from home. Even with Covid restrictions in place this hotel is excellent. The bar, breakfast, rooms and general ambiance of the place is very relaxing and top class from a service perspective. (Nov 2020)

Would definitely stay here again

Excellent central location for work and for evening dining, shopping etc. Car park next door very useful and close to main access roads. Comfortable room with great views over the River Lee. Would definitely stay here again.

Next level service

A few months ago, I returned to Cork for a business trip, based on my great first visit, stayed at the Metropole again. Their Concierge (which hardly does him justice) John Coleman is THE MAN, always going above and beyond. This time I had my wife along with me, she was treated like family as well. The rest of the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the food was great, and the location was not only conveniently located across my office, but has great options all around.
