Cork’s Buzz Fizz {Cocktail Recipe}

CORK’S BUZZ FIZZ COCKTAIL RECIPE

The Met’s cocktail of the week is Cork’s Buzz Fizz. Special thanks to Damien, cocktail extraordinaire for creating this cocktail just in time for The Virtual Festival of Prosecco. Usually our sold-out Festival of Prosecco takes place in May, but this year we’ve taken it online and will be sharing tips, recipes and insights from the team to help you become a Prosecco extraordinaire.

This Prosecco cocktail is made with ingredients that almost everyone can find in their cupboard! Made with honey and lemon, “Cork’s Buzz Fizz” is the perfect balance of sweet and sour!

INGREDIENTS

1 Shot of Gin
1/2 Juice from a Fresh Lemon
1 Shot of Honey Syrup
Top up with Prosecco
  • Add crushed ice to your coupe glass to chill
  • Add the gin, honey syrup and fresh lemon juice to your cocktail shaker and shake
  • Empty the coupe glass of ice, and pour your mixture into the glass
  • Top up with Prosecco
  • Gently crush a lemon peel curl over the glass and add to the edge to garnish if you’re feeling extra fancy!

What Prosecco to use?

We serve Prosecco from the Perlage Winery, a family run, organic Italian winery. In this particular cocktail, we used the Sgajo, extra dry. We choose to serve this Prosecco because we believe it is a superior product and as it is both vegan and organic, we can be confident that we are serving only the best product to our customers.
