How to get there from The Metropole Hotel
The Ocean Escapes tours depart from Crosshaven, Monkstown or Cobh. If you are driving, you can easily reach all three departure destinations, if not, don’t worry! Just 5 minutes walk from our hotel is the Cork Kent Railway Station whose trains will take you all the way to Cobh. Train journeys are approx 25mins and depart every hour. If you need any help booking your tour or arranging transport, simply contact our Concierge during or before your stay and he would be happy to assist you and make any necessary arrangements.

Their boats can collect you from Crosshaven or Cobh (Just a short train journey from The Metropole Hotel) and are available for a 60 min trip around Cork Harbour and beyond. They have had regular sightings of Dolphins recently which makes the offshore trips very exciting.
