Are all of your meeting rooms accessible?
Most of our meeting rooms are on the first floor of the hotel and there is both stairs and lift access to our first floor rooms. We have one meeting room, The Douglas Vance with some limitations on access so please let our team know your requirements when booking.
Do your meeting rooms have natural daylight?
Yes all of our meeting rooms have Natural daylight.
Two of our event spaces, the Snug in The met Bar and The Gallery are the only rooms without daylight.
When was your last refurbishment?
The Ballroom and Douglas Vance were refurbished in 2024 as well as our Lobby. We worked with a team to ensure we retained the timeless elegance of our Victorian building while offering modern facilities for our guests.
How many meeting rooms are in the Metropole hotel?
The Metropole has 9 meeting rooms and an additional 4 spaces that can be used for events or dining. Our meeting rooms offer flexibility for your event with addtional space on our first floor in the reception areas that work for registration or breaks where your teams can network.
