What is the maximum capacity The Metropole Hotel can hold?

The maximum the Metropole Ballroom is banquet style for 200 guests and the stunning Douglas Vance Suite can accommodate 70 guests  

What wedding packages do you offer?

We have two wedding packages, The Gold Package and The Platnium Package. For more information on both of these packages, download our Wedding Brochure by clicking here.

Is there a bedroom deal that is attached to our Wedding Package? 

Yes, at the Metropole Hotel Cork we always provide the bridal couple with a preferential rate for guests attending their wedding for up to 10 rooms.

Can you have a civil ceremony in the hotel?

Yes, the room for your civil ceremony is included in your wedding package price and there are a number of stunning rooms available to host your civil ceremony

Does the Hotel have parking? 

Yes, the hotel offers a discounted rate to our guests’ in St Patricks Quay car park at €7.50 per day.

Does the Hotel allow for us to bring in our own wine/champagne?

Yes, of course we do. We charge corkage per bottle that you bring in and consume, Anna is always on hand to discuss such detail.

What is the Hotel’s policy on children attending weddings?

We love to see children attending a good wedding, they make a special day like this, even more special and children are charged at half the adult price on the day for their meal.

How much is the deposit? 

We would require a deposit of €1,000 to secure your wedding with us.

Is The Metropole Hotel wheelchair accessible? 

Yes, we have a dedicated team on hand to assist those in wheelchairs to wherever they may need to go, a lift will bring you to the 1st floor of the hotel where the ballroom is located

When do you need to give final numbers?

Final & definite numbers are required 48 hours prior to the wedding day.

Is there stationary/decorations/table plans provided by the Hotel? 

The hotel provides your chair sashes, covers and centrepieces for your big day, but we have a fantastic list of wedding suppliers that work closely with us regularly that we would be delighted to put you in touch with for those extra special touches
