Best location in Cork City

'We have just returned home from our stay in The Metropole Hotel in Cork, and as usual when we stay in this Hotel, everything was great (this was our 4th time to stay there). The receptionists are just so nice and friendly, so first impression is really good. I mentioned, when I was booking, that it was our wedding anniversary, so when we arrived, we were upgraded to a gorgeous room. There is a good choice for breakfast, and if you are lucky enough to be served by Nicole, she will look after you really well. We had dinner in the hotel on both nights - first night in the restaurant (lovely staff), and second night in the bar, and food was excellent both nights. The location of the hotel has to be the best in Cork City, as you don't have to drive into the city, and still you can walk into it in about five minutes. I would definitely recommend The Metropole, and I hope to return soon.'
